My peace lily went on some adventures when I had to move out and move back in – a friend took good care of it, but when I finally picked it up it need some love. After a slightly ruthless trim, some plant food and a lot of water its come back to life with a new flower 🙂
So I really want to do some more exciting things with this blog, but life is getting in the way a bit – ain’t it always so…
Anyways, still on with the minsgame – caught up on three days, slightly gutted that a lot of the stuff this time came from beauty/make-up, so had to be binned because I doubt anyone wants 3 year old mascara 😦
So I have been mental busy with work, but managing to just about keep on top of getting rid of things. I actually cannot be bothered to detail everything, but I think the kitchen purge is almost complete. Continue reading
Friday was cookbook purge day… Delia Smiths epic “How to Cook” has had a reprieve, but “Low Sugar No Sugar” (all minging, sugar rocks), “30 Minute Cookbook” (lies, all lies), “Cupcakes” (seriously?) and “The British Energy Cookbook” (I have never worked for this company, why do I have this?).
So been away with work, super stressed. Come home and purge 3 days at once. FEELS SO GOOD!
3 possibly dangerous extension leads on day 3, gone to small electrical recycling.
1 bottle of wine that had about 1/2 glass left in it and lived on the kitchen side for about 6 months. Wine binned, glass recycled.
Taking the sayings,thoughts and themes that make us happy and ruining them with science and logic and then ...um...happiness might come from that. Or at least some sort of smugness that's very similiar.
